Over 23 acres of land adjacent to the Honda Center was developed into three 2-story Office Buildings, each comprising of 127,705 square feet. The remainder of the site included parking, landscaping, a central plaza as well as widening of Douglass Road. The project included the design and approval of street improvements, storm drain, grading, sewer and water plans. The preparation, submittal and approval of SWPPP and WQMP were also accomplished by Mayers & Associates Civil Engineering, Inc.
A seven-acre commercial site located on the Cal Poly Pomona campus that will have a three-story, 120,000 square foot office building and 3.5-acre parking area with landscaping. The storm drain design incorporates an onsite infiltration area to purify and recharge groundwater and a "Stormceptor" stormwater pollution control system, which efficiently removes suspended solids and oils from storm water.
An 18-acre shopping plaza that included a variety of shops, restaurants and office space is included in this retail development. In addition to precise grading, street, sewer and water improvements, design for this project included a specially constructed 800-foot long retaining wall reaching a height of 31 feet to afford optimal site use.
A 14-acre regional commercial center anchored by EXPO Design Center with retail shops, a drive-thru restaurant, gas station and other retail buildings. Precise grading services incorporated specific design criteria for the EXPO structure, an 890-foot retaining wall and a specially designed Wildlife Corridor. Mayers & Associates performed the engineering, construction staking and an as-built A.L.T.A. survey.
A 45-acre business center subdivided and developed into commercial and light manufacturing structures, including associated improvements. This included the design of a flood control system, street improvements, grading, sewer, water and storm drain improvements.
For this project Mayers & Associates Civil Engineering, Inc. worked with Tesco Construction, the contractor for The Facilities Group. This project consisted of staking over 700,000 square feet of building and all of the supporting improvements on this 91-acre site.
